Rahul was appointed to his current role in 2011 and is responsible for developing business development & growth strategies for the complete suite of GE’s industrial businesses across the ASEAN region. Along with his team, he is responsible for strategic marketing, investment capital to support new growth programs and verticals with a tight linkage to technology, flag planting and originating & executing on JV’s & partnerships. In addition, he is also the regional executive sponsor for the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) which is GE’s premier global commercial leadership program. He is based in Singapore.
In his 18+ year GE career, Rahul has held several senior leadership roles with the company in different Asian markets. Previously, he served as President & CEO of GE Money Singapore and Chief Marketing Officer of GE Capital-Global Banking, Southeast Asia. Earlier, he was the President & CEO of GE Money Hong Kong and also served as the Chairman of the Board of GE Capital Hong Kong. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles in India and Singapore.
Apart from GE, Rahul’s experience includes a two- year assignment with Telemobil, a leading mobile telephony company in Eastern Europe as Director-Sales & Marketing. He worked with American Express and Xerox in the early part of his career.
