Divyang Arora is an expert in Capacity Building and Entrepreneur Development. Divyang works with stakeholders on initiatives around entrepreneurship, skills and capacity building. He firmly believes that capacity building of entrepreneurs is key to helping organizations achieve scale and his work has focused on new models of capacity building for entrepreneurs.
Divyang is the co-founder and CEO at Byte Kitchen. Byte Kitchen enables independent restaurants to scale to new geographies through its network of kitchens. It is backed by leading Silicon Valley investors including Y-Combinator, Crosslink Capital and Wndrco. Prior to that, he worked at Evercore Partners in their Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team in New York focusing on the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) industries.
Previously, he worked at Central Square Foundation (CSF), a venture philanthropy organization investing in early-stage education in India. At CSF, Divyang advised and invested in multiple enterprises and focused on entrepreneur development, capacity building and growth initiatives. He also led fundraising for portfolio organizations and helped create an accelerator to incubate early-stage enterprises.
His thought pieces on entrepreneur capacity building have been covered by leading industry publications such as The Times of India, The Economic Times and Mint. He has also been a speaker at conferences such as The Horasis India Meeting, Techsparks and The One Globe Forum.
Divyang started his career in management consulting in New York first working at Booz and Co. and then at JP Morgan Chase in their strategy team. He graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a George F. Baker Scholar and with a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering (summa cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania.
