Agenda* 2016

The annual One Globe: Uniting Knowledge Communities conference brings together global thought leaders to discuss how we build a 21st century knowledge economy in India and South Asia. It is India's leading conference exploring the intersection of technology, innovation, smart cities, skills, regional collaboration and education and their role in building a 21st century knowledge economy.

India and larger South Asia (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Afghanistan & Maldives) account for nearly a quarter of the world's population and the region has played a historical role in the development of the world economy. India alone has one of the youngest demographics in the world with 54% of its 1.3 billion people under the age of 25.

At One Globe Conference we will focus on ideas, issues and impact of the new government's ambitious agenda to transform India into a 21st century knowledge economy through its initiatives like "Digital India", "Make in India" and "Smart Cities".

One Globe 2016 will be held on 5th & 6th Feb. 2016 in New Delhi.

Such an education was rooted in the belief that people who are equipped to make a more just and peaceful world need an education that crosses disciplinary, cultural, national and geographical boundaries.[i] This session will take you through the past, present and future of the International Baccalaureate and the challenges schools face to remain relevant and challenging in today’s times.
