Dr. Sistla Rama Devi Pani is the Editor, University News and Head of the Research Division at Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. Enriched with vast experience in the field of Education, Higher Education and Distance Education, Dr. Pani is associated for the last eleven years with editing of the University News, a coveted Weekly Journal of Higher Education which is also regarded as the face of Indian higher Education. She has served in various apex Institutions in India like NCERT, IGNOU, NIOS. A Trained Career Counselor, Dr. Pani is in the panel of experts at Rehabilitation Council of India and is an honorary consultant at some of educational institutions in India and Australia. She serves on the Academic Council of Mewar University, Chittorgarh and has to her credit several publications.

A Doctorate in Distance Education, she holds Masters Degrees in Chemistry and Education.
