Mr. Gupta is Partner at vir.mueller architects. He has lectured, and taught at several universities including the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, the University of Texas in Austin (McDermott Visiting Professor in Architecture), Arizona State University, and the University of New Mexico. He is a founder of Reading India, a study-abroad program for architecture students, exploring the architecture of ancient and contemporary India.
He is co-author of CITYNOTES - a monthly column devoted to urban issues published in Mint. A member of the American Institute of Architects, Pankaj Vir Gupta is a licensed architect in the United States, and a registered member of the Council of Indian Architects
He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Architecture from Yale University.
