Charles Hannon is Professor of Computing and Information Studies, and Associate Dean of the Faculty, at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA. He teaches courses in the history of computing; human computer interaction; and project management; and he also participates in the College’s Gender and Women’s Studies program. He has published in a variety of areas, including interaction design, gender studies, educational technology, and American literature. He is the author of the 2005 book Faulkner and the Discourses of Culture, which won the C. Hugh Holman prize for the best book of literary scholarship in the field of Southern Literature.
