Professor, Psyschology Department,
Frederick L. Coolidge is currently a Professor in the Psychology Department at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. He received his BA, MA, and PhD in psychology at the University of Florida and completed a two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Shands Teaching Hospital, Gainesville, Florida. He has been awarded three Fulbright Fellowships to India (1987, 1992, & 2005). He also has received three teaching awards at the University of Colorado (1984, 1987, & 1992) including the lifetime title University of Colorado Presidential Teaching Scholar. He has also received two University of Colorado research excellence awards (2005 & 2007). Professor Coolidge conducts research in behavior genetics, lifespan personality assessment, cognitive archaeology, and paleoneuropsychology (the application of psychological and neuropsychological models to the archaeological and anthropological record).
