Anshul Arora is the Founder and CEO of Edvance Group, a social enterprise setup in 2008 to draw on global best practice and provide solutions to educational problems facing India. The group’s first initiative Edvance Pre-Schools is a joint venture with EtonHouse International based in Singapore. The organization delivers joyful, holistic, child centric and experiential learning across 40 preschools in major cities in India under the brands Vivero and Serra International. The group is now extending this philosophy through the setup of quality primary and secondary schools.
Prior to founding Edvance, Anshul worked with McKinsey & Company in Asia, Europe and the United States focused on international development work with government and not for profit clients. Anshul has a B.A. in Economics from Amherst College and an M.B.A from Harvard where he also plays the lead role for further learning of Harvard Business School alumni in India.
Anshul is an advocate of educational reform and a regular speaker at international forums such as Reggio Emilia in Italy and the Milken Global Conference in the United States. Anshul believes that every child has the right to a high quality education and that human capital development is the cornerstone to international development and poverty reduction.
