CEO, NASSCOM Foundation
'Connecting the dots' is Rita's current professional motto. She is an Indian American who migrated to India in 2006 not realizing that nearly all dots will get connected here.An engineer turn do-gooder, Rita has managed to combine a passion for solving inequity with the private sector in unique ways at General Electric (GE),YES Bank and now NASSCOM Foundation. The planet, the poor and institutions of change are her driving forces which have found an outlet in technology for good. This huge platform leaves little room for much else, although living in India has given her the opportunity to connect with her huge Gujju family and explore all the corners of this sub-continent!
