Arti Luniya represents Steel Authority of India Limited (S.A.I.L), which is a public sector enterprise and the largest steel company in India. She is currently working as Executive Director, and is global procurement head for Coal at S.A.I.L. She brings rich strategic experience of to her assignments, having worked for over 35 years on the sale and marketing of steel.
She is among few in the coal industry today, who have strong experience in the user-side of steel. As the Chief Risk Officer of SAIL, she is also responsible for steering Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) in the company. She has also contributed to the formation of the successful company mjunction, which is India's largest eCommerce company today and runs the world's largest eMarketplace for steel. She is on the board of Directors of SAIL- SCI Shipping Company Ltd ( SSSCL).
Arti Luniya completed her Masters in International Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University [JNU], New Delhi, after majoring in Economics (Honors) from the prestigious Delhi University in India.
In her various assignments, Ms Luniya has always been at the forefront, spearheading change in the organization. She is among the senior-most women in the steel industry today and is well-recognised for her contributions and in-depth knowledge of the steel and coal industry. Ms. Luniya has been a regular speaker at many conferences both in India and abroad.
