Professor & Vice Dean, Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities
Dr. Bennett McClellan is currently Vice Dean of the Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities, a new college constituted under the Jindal Global University. The JSLH convened its first class in August 2014, and will convene its second batch in fall 2015. Dr. McClellan has worked and lived in India for the past three years, assisting with the startup of various academic and corporate training programs. His current projects include starting a Filmmaking Academy under the Jindal Global University. The Filmmaking Academy represents the first step toward creating a comprehensive media and performing arts center based in the NCR.
Prior to coming to India, Dr. McClellan worked all over the world as a business strategist, change catalyst, writer and executive coach. He has served as a management consultant with McKinsey & Co., Arthur D. Little, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His most recent book, The Total Question Workout, has attracted attention from both academics and corporate groups since it publication in 2014. His next book, titled Loyalty is Risk-free, is schedule for publication later this year.
Dr. McClellan earned his Ph.G. in Management from Claremont Graduate University’s Drucker-Ito School of Management. In attrition, Dr. McClellan earned master’s degrees from the Harvard Business School, UCLA’s School of Theater, Film & Television, and the United States International University. As an undergraduate, Dr. McClellan majored in biology/biochemistry and minored in Drama at UC San Diego’s Revelle College.
