Ms. Namrata Jha is the Director of the Institute of International Education’s New Delhi office. Namrata joined IIE in 2009 and had been in her current position since 2011. She is responsible for overseeing the implementation of a wide range of programs including exchange, scholarship/fellowship management, university partnerships, capacity building and leadership programs within the South Asia region. She brings 15 years of experience of working with government, private foundations and international organizations in various parts of the country. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Delhi University & a B.A. in Psychology and speaks English and Hindi. She had served in the editorial board of “Study Abroad”- a Times of India publication in 2013 and had presented academic papers in several International conferences during the span of her career. Acknowledged for her integrity, high professional standards, Namrata is a recipient of the ET Now National Education Leadership Award for Leadership in Education-2013. She was recently featured at Forbes (2013) for her contributions in the field of education for girls.
