Vice President, Customer Business – Defence
In January 2014 Steven took up the post of Vice President, Customer Business – Defence, India with responsibility for managing Rolls-Royce’s strategically vital relationships with the Indian Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces and defence industry.
Steven’s previous position was in Rolls-Royce’s Strategy and Future Programmes team where he led work on future combat aircraft programmes. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Steven worked for the UK Ministry of Defence where he undertook a number of roles, including providing strategic policy advice in support of UK crisis management and military operations around the world. Steven also undertook acquisition and personnel policy positions. Steven served for two years as First Secretary (Defence Equipment) in the British Embassy, Washington DC where he helped to secure US ratification of the UK-US Defence Trade Cooperation Treaty and worked on a number of high-profile defence industrial co-operation issues.
Steven enjoys travel and has previously lived and working in the USA and China. In his free time Steven enjoys walking, cycling and spending time with his very active young family.
