K Yatish Rajawat is an award-winning journalist, policy commentator and business economist who helps connect the dots linking policy, ideas, and implementation with problems at the grass-root level. He is the founding Editor-in-Chief of Business Bhaskar (Hindi) and former Managing Editor of the Dainik Bhaskar group. He has worked with the Hindu Group and Economic Times in leadership positions.
He started a newspaper, Business Bhaskar the first hindi newspaper in the country for tier-2 cities across the country. His exposure with the Hindi journalism gave him a chance to work across more than 120 cities while managing editions in these cities. He realized that the problem that ails urban India is the same across the country, and newspaper can raise the problem but they do not have solutions. Which is why he decided to start Livable Habitat the only Think Tank in India focused on urbanization that is looking at solution that can help address the challenge.
