Bharat Joshi is the CEO of J Curve Ventures Pvt. Ltd. The company focuses on a range of verticals including 3 i’s – Insight+, Investment and Implementation.
As Director for Associated Container Terminals Limited and group companies, Bharat is involved in new product development, projects and growth & investment strategies. The group companies cover a range of businesses in international logistics, container terminals and domestic distribution.
Prior to joining ACTL and founding JCurve, Bharat has worked and trained with leading Multinational and Indian companies in Malaysia, Denmark, and India.
Presently, JCurve has alliances with Fraunhofer IML in Germany; Lincoln University, Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce, and Canterbury Development Corporation in New Zealand; and are currently working on increasing their footprint through alliances in other geographies.
Bharat is considered a key thinker on various subjects, is interviewed for print and electronic media, and has addressed fora in India, China, New Zealand and Europe. He is on the advisory board of HarVa, a charter member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), and has been acknowledged in UNCTAD's World Investment Report 2006.
Bharat is a Radio Broadcaster for AIR (All India Radio), regularly writes for various print and online publications, including Wall Street Journal, CNN IBN and Economic Times and is visiting faculty at SRCC (Shri Ram College of Commerce), Delhi University.
Bharat is a graduate in B.Sc. (Hons.), Business and Management Sciences, from the University of Bradford, UK, and is currently pursuing the OPM (Owner and President Management) Program from Harvard Business School.
Bharat is currently authoring his first business book, to be published by India’s largest publishing house.
A keen photographer (www.bharatmrida.com) and sportsman, Bharat lives in New Delhi, India and his interests include Golf, Horse Riding and Swimming. As President of Rotary Club of Delhi Midtown (www.rcdm3011.org), Bharat has adopted Bibipur Village in Haryana, with a special emphasis on women’s empowerment and rural development.
