Shireesh Sahai took over as the CEO of Wolters Kluwer in April 2015, which is a global leader in professional information services thatprovides information, software, and services to legal, tax, finance, and healthcare professionals across India. He has been assigned to drive the next phase of growth of Wolters Kluwer in India. Mr. Sahai has the expertise of more than 25 years, working in India, the U.S., Europe, China, and throughout Asia. He joined Wolters Kluwer after 18 years of stint with General Electric Company, where he was involved in multiple modalities, including X-ray, MRI, CT, Surgery and Interventional, in different capacities including Marketing & Sales, Product Development, Quality, Supply Chain, Government segment and as Business Leader. Before joining GE, he had worked in Automobile sector including General Motors.
He held the position of Director at GE's Healthcare Government business, which gave him an opportunity to create products for Indian healthcare, which he continues to do at a global level now.
He has a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE-Mech.) from Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), Delhi University and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi University.
