An entrepreneurial self-starter with more than 15 years of experience of in establishing start-ups, Mohit Soni started his career at the early age of 18 years, by setting up one of India’s top animation and post-production ventures, named Spectrum Media. In view of the growing demand for skilled resources, he established an animation and Vfx training center in 2002 called Brawn Info. During 2005-2008, he established Picasso Animation College across 13 cities in India, in association with Centennial College, Canada. He was also instrumental in establishing several training centers for Arena Multimedia and Frameboxx Animation.
His core strengths are developing new business alliance, channel network, unique business models, and setting up partnerships between International and Indian academic institutes and universities.
As COO, Mr. Soni brings his extensive industry knowledge and a strong network to MESC. Within a year of his tenure at MESC, he was able to successfully affiliate all leading brands in the media and entertainment industry, including the NBA Group of Institutions, Mr. Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods, Ramesh Sippy Academy of Cinema & Entertainment, DSK Superinfocom, Prime Focus and more than 50 other leading brands.
He is an exceptional communicator with expertise in working in multicultural environments, a deep understanding of new markets for business growth, and proven skills in making tactical plans and developing large, diversified teams.
