Nidhi Nijhawan, an alumna of Jesus and Mary College, has 23 years of experience of learning and mentoring at various levels of education. To her, challenges are a balance between being rewarding and being a learner. Ms. Nijhawan has served as Head of the School in elite organizations such as the Global Indian International School, DAV, and Presidium. She has also been a senior faculty member at Vasant Valley, St. Xavier’s, The American School, St. Ann’s, Bhatnagar International, and the Army School.
She has a Master’s degree in English, and has written research papers as well as the book Igniting Minds, while working as Subject Expert on the R&D team at Educomp. Studying at Welham and the Convent of Jesus and Mary taught her the skills that have helped her in her journey.
She has attended workshops and seminars across India, given talks at many summits, and advocated the cause of children’s education.
In her present role as Regional School Director, Zee Learn, the education vertical of the Essel Group, she has nurtured the potential of the students of the Mount Litera Zee schools in a holistic manner. She handles academic and operations of Mount Litera Zee Schools in Delhi-NCR, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. She has successfully launched several of these schools in northern India, working on the ideas of Howard Garner and Stephen Covey.
