Head of Policy, North India & Federal Affairs, Uber
Prior to his current role at Uber as Head of Policy, North India & Federal Affairs, Rachit Ranjan was Public Policy & Government Affairs Lead at the company, from December 2015 to May 2017.
Before joining Uber, Mr. Ranjan was Policy Fellow & Manager at the Oval Observer Foundation, where he was involved in producing research output on policy issues relating to trade, investment and socio-economic development in emerging economies. He led the Foundation’s research direction and strategic engagement platform in both London and New Delhi.
He has also worked as a legal researcher with the World Trade Organization, and lecturer at the Jindal Global Law School.
He graduated in Law from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, and got his Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a focus on International Law, International Trade Law and Legal Studies from University of California Berkeley School of Law.
