Caran oversees the undergraduate team at The Red Pen and handles a team of 20 lead consultants and content specialists. After graduating in 2016, Caran served as an Admissions Counselor at Bates where he was the territory manager for Connecticut, Westchester County and Long Island. His responsibilities included traveling within his regionsto recruit students and serve as an ambassador of the college. He also read applications and was a member of the admission committee responsible for making decisions to select the incoming class of first year students. Caran was a former college athlete and served as the captain his college squash team. He strongly believes in success through collaboration and is a strong advocate of a liberal arts education. His passion for helping young people and serving as a resource as they navigate their way through the college application process led him to the education consulting space. Prior to Mumbai, Caran previously resided in the United States.
