Nandita Parker is one of the pioneers of Equities Research in India. Nandita is Portfolio Manager and CEO with 20 years of combined experience in Emerging markets investing, asset management and equities research. Nandita has demonstrated the ability to build and maximize the efforts of a research team utilizing the unparalleled domestic and international relationships that she developed over the span of her Wall Street and asset management career. Nandita established and founded Karma Capital Management LLC, the first India-dedicated Alternative Investment platform, in 2003. Spanning 3 decades, Nandita’s professional experience includes Emerging Markets Portfolio Management roles at two U.S based hedge funds, and International Equities Research roles on the at American Century Investment Management, Inc.. From 2004-2005, Nandita was India market strategist at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. Nandita began her professional career as a U.S. Media/Entertainment analyst at Gerard Klauer Mattison & Co. Inc., in New York, from 1991 to 1994.
Nandita is the founder of Asset Managers Roundtable of India (AMRI), an initiative which brings together members of the Investment industry of India to engage and work together with the government and the market regulators for Capital Market reforms. Ms. Parker has an MBA in Finance from the College of William & Mary (Williamsburg, Virginia), and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with Honors, from Delhi University.
