Mr. Nishant Sharma is a Co-Founder of Kedaara Capital Investment Managers Ltd and serves as its Partner. Previously, he was a Managing Director at the firm. Mr. Sharma is a part of Investment Advisory team at the firm. Previously, Mr. Sharma serves as Nominee Director at AAVAS Financiers Ltd. since June 23, 2016. He served as a Principal at General Atlantic LLC since October 05, 2010 where he was a senior member of the India investment team since 2006 and focused on investments in sectors including business services, financial services, technology and healthcare. He served as a Vice President of Deal Team at General Atlantic LLC. He rejoined General Atlantic in September 2006 after having worked as a Summer Associate during the summer of 2005. Previously, he worked as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, Inc. from 2001 to 2003. While at McKinsey, he worked with clients in the pharmaceutical, information technology services, manufacturing and government space on a wide range of strategic and operational issues.
In addition, he worked at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as a Program Associate in setting up the largest HIV/AIDS prevention program in India. He serves as a Board Observer of Indian School of Business. He served as a Non-Executive Investor Nominee Director of Au FINANCIERS (INDIA) LIMITED since December 22, 2014 until January 26, 2017. He has over 12 years of investment experience, encompassing the full lifecycle of private equity in India across a variety of industries and across private and public markets. Mr. Sharma received an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2006 and an M.Tech. and a B.Tech. in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2001.
