Rahul joins Avanti from General Electric (GE) bringing with him a dynamic and successful 21 year career with him to Avanti. Rahul has held several leadership roles in different Asian markets. His 15 intensive years with GE Money has given him a deep expertise in consumer lending in emerging and mature markets.

Rahul’s previous positions include President & CEO of GE Money in Singapore & Hong Kong. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer for GE Money India. Most recently Rahul served as the Managing Director & Head -Business Development spearheading growth initiatives for the full suite of GE Businesses for the 10 countries of the ASEAN region. Rahul’s experience beyond GE includes a role as Director-Sales with a mobile telephony company in Eastern Europe and his work with American Express and Xerox in the early part of his career. A commerce graduate of DAV College, Chandigarh, Rahul has attended several prestigious leadership programs with GE in United States including Fintech Programme from Said Business School, University of Oxford.
