Ambassador David Mulford on the importance of globalization
The former ambassador talks about how the Bush administration recognized the importance of strategic relations with India. He says that India is still one of the world’s top polluters and not much has been done in order to change that. Harjiv asks the ambassador about the Brentwood system and India’s place in it, globally. To which he replies by saying the only financing available to developing countries was US aid, soviet aid etc.. Finally Mr. Mulford talks about how cross border financing has grown and trade has increased as a result.
